As a homeowner thinking of selling your home, you may come up with a long list of defects or flaws on your home that you think need repair or update before putting your home up for sale. Your home does not need to be perfect. Keep in mind, since you are the one living at the home, you will notice more flaws than a buyer who goes to see it for a few minutes. Most of the items you think that need fixing, the buyer may not even bring up. My advice, put the property up for sale as soon as the property is just right. A good real estate agent can determine the necessary repairs, if any, that should be done. If you still prefer to fix other items, you may do so while property is up for sale.
